Job Description

The primary purpose of the Solution Consultant  is to provide technical advice, support and strategy to our customers and the Sales Team to deliver continued growth within the business. The focus will be on Microsoft Cloud Communications and Collaboration which include Office 365, Microsoft Skype for Business Online and Microsoft Teams, Polycom and Blue Jeans Video Conferencing and Room Booking Systems.
Support sales teams in the creation and development of sales opportunities by owning the technical customer relationship. Through understanding of the customers’ business goals and strategy, the Solution Consultant should help qualify and understand the customer’s IT architecture and strategy, ensure that they understand the broad value proposition, and to identify and drive (from a technical perspective) opportunities within customer accounts across the entire portfolio.
This requires a pro-active approach to meet with customers on regular and frequent occasions to develop a deep technical relationship at all levels.
* Sales Support: attend client calls and meetings to assist a consultancy based sale. Identify requirements and product ‘best fit’ for client
* RFI/RFP response: work with sales, bid management team to respond to client RFPs and RFIs
* Solution design: Build a high level solution design based on client requirements utilising Arkadin product offers
* Professional Services Pricing: review and present PS effort based on the solution design and client timelines
* Statement of work: construct a SOW for every offer which includes PS. Detailing the design, delivery, risks, contingencies and effort
* Project handover to PM/SA: Attend project kick of meeting at the completion of the contract phase, handover design, timelines and effort agreements
* NSBP Support: attend Non Standard Bid Process in support of sales, present solutions to non standard elements, track & follow-up when necessary


* Degree/Diploma holder with 8+ years relevant experience in B2B technical pre-sales experience
* Extensive experience in a Pre-Sales Consultant capacity with an advanced understanding of service and sales principles and practice
* Extensive experience in providing solution for Microsoft O365, Skype for Business Voice or Microsoft Teams
