Job Description

The Customer Events Specialist for Japan will be responsible for ensuring that all internal and external Service Level Agreements are met at all times and that the standard of service provided to our clients is of the highest quality. He/She will also support the other event team members on a day to day basis in managing the distribution of administrative tasks, emails, incoming phone queries, requests for assistance and being their first escalation point. He/She would also provide ad hock training when required and guidance to develop the team alongside the Events Manager. He/She also uses a solutions-based approach in designing, creating, and executing Events and will be in charge of developing and reviewing  processes and policies regarding the services provided.
The Event Specialist works directly with the customer from point of receipt of the Event order through to the completion of the Event and any post-event discussions and follow-up. They may work with various organizational units such as Sales, Operations, other Events teams, and external partners on completing a successful Event.
* Close monitor of reasons for all incidents and implement changes to process to address weaknesses.
* Ensure operational efficiency of the events team
* Developing and Implementing new solutions/processes and necessary training as required
* Professional management of Event customers, providing prompt and accurate support
* Post event customer satisfaction: plan activities and debriefs to gather feedback and ensure quality of service can be improved, if needed
* Decreased turnaround times on all Event provisioning activities
* Optimum Event Success Rate (minimum 98% QoS)
* Positively influence customer retention
* To assist and liaise other department as and when required


* University Graduate with minimum 3 years relevant industry experience
* Excellent written and oral communication skills in the required language(s)
* Experience on webcasting world and conferencing platforms in general
* Strong Attention to detail, organized, and accurate
* Ability to work under pressure while coordinating multiple tasks under tight deadlines
* Ability to work independently as well as being a part of a team environment
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is required
