Institut Curie vous propose une offre d'emploi dans les domaines Santé - Social, Hôpitaux, Médecine à Paris.
Laboratory
The project will be developed within the Cancer Immunotherapy Center at the Immunology Department (INSERM Unit U932, ( https://curie.fr/unite/u932 ), headed by Ana-Maria Lennon. Unit U932 comprises 10 independent research teams in fundamental and applied immunology, working in a highly collaborative and international environment.
The candidate will work under the supervision of Dr Claire Hivroz, who heads the “Integrative Analysis of T Cell Activation” team ( https://institut-curie.org/team/hivroz ) within U932. The team studies how intracellular signaling mechanisms regulate the immune T cells responses. Their approaches are multidisciplinary, combining high-resolution fluorescence microscopy, biochemistry, cell biology and mouse models. The team has extensive expertise in the analysis of signaling pathways induced by the TCR and its co-activators or co-inhibitors, and in characterizing the immune synapse. The team's aim is to build on this expertise to identify new molecular players and test their potential as immunotherapy targets.
Missions
In this context, the team is studying how CAR signaling differs from TCR signaling.
The candidate's project will be in line with this study and will aim to:
- Characterizing intracellular CAR signaling in T lymphocytes.
- Testing new targets to enhance the efficacy of CAR-Ts in tumor models.
The candidate will also interact with the Myeloid Cells and Immunity team ( https://curie.fr/equipe/benaroch ).
- The candidate must have a PhD in Immunology or Oncology.
- He/she must have experience in at least one of the following areas:
· OMIC analysis (transcriptomics, proteomics).
· Experimental tumor models.
- Expertise in animal experimentation would be a plus.
- Language skills: Fluent English and good written and oral communication skills.
- Strong team spirit and collaborative mindset
- Ability to work independently and creatively
- Dynamic and curious.
